If real-time, mass-delivery of events within an intranet is your key concern, then the iBus//Realtime add-on to iBus//MessageServer is your product. It extends the iBus//MessageServer with the reliable IP multicast quality-of-service. As iBus//RealTime is designed to seamlessly work together with other protocols, the message server can offer true protocol-independent JMS messaging. Each producer or consumer of messages is registered with the message server with the optimal protocol to reach the server. Mixed configurations that use IP multicast to deliver information to intranet clients, and SSL or HTTP to send the same information to Web users, become possible.
